In these puzzles, each letter of the alphabet is substituted by a numerical value between 1 and 26. The values of each letter within a word are then summed to give a total value for each word. For example, if A = 5, N = 12 and D = 9 then the word AND has a total value of 26 (5+12+9).
The words and their values are displayed at the top part of the screen.
Alongside each word is the calculated value based on your solutions. The solution part will change based on your answers.
If you think that the letter S has a value 18 then you would enter 18 in the box below the letter S. If you enter the same value twice then both of the entries will be set to red. To remove a value select the appropriate table entry and press the space bar or delete key.
